Established in 1997 under the Ministry of Economic Development, Fundashon Marshe manages Curaçao’s iconic markets, including Plasa Bieu, Marshe Rondo, Plasa di Arte, and the open-air markets at Sha Caprileskade, Otrabanda, and Punda. Our vision rests on three pillars:

Fundashon Marshe is undergoing a strategic internal reorganization to enhance operational efficiency and better support Curaçao’s small entrepreneurs. This transformation involves streamlining management processes, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering a more collaborative team structure, all aimed at strengthening our ability to provide affordable infrastructure and innovative opportunities for vendors, with exciting updates to be revealed in September 2025.
Products Upgrades
The markets managed by Fundashon Marshe, including Plasa Bieu, Plasa di Otrabanda, Plasa di Atre, Sha Capriles Kade (Barquitos) and Marshe Punda, are refreshing their product offerings to showcase Curaçao’s vibrant culture and innovation. Expect a diverse array of new products, locally handmade crafts, and unique locally made goods, designed to attract both locals and tourists while empowering vendors to expand their businesses with fresh, creative products.
Community Engagement
Fundashon Marshe is deepening its commitment to community engagement by participating or hosting events like Dia di Empresario and the BETH market, Siman di Kultura, Musika Kultural fostering connections between vendors, residents, and visitors.
