What should you know before submitting a rental and permit request. Fundashon Marshe manages the entire area depicted in the picture below:



Marshe di Punda, Plasa Bieu, Marshe di Otrabanda, Plasa di Arte (Otrabanda), Sha Carpiles Kade (Barquitos) are among our main established property or spaces we manage.


To proceed with your application, we require you to submit the following documents:

Proof of Identity: A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport, driver's license).

  • References: Contact information for at least two personal references and one professional reference.
  • Previous Address Proof: If you have moved within the last 6 months, please provide proof of your previous address.


Please ensure that all documents are clear and legible. To facilitate a smooth application process, you must upload all these documents through our secure online system. Here’s how:

Important: Your application cannot be processed without the complete submission of these documents. Please upload all required files before your scheduled appointment or review.

Vent license

Do you want to sell products / services on the street or door to door?  And do you not have a permanent location? Then you need a "Vent permit".

This means that with a vent license you always offer the products / services in a different place and that you only stand in a certain place for serving a customer.

As a holder of a vent license, you can sell the products / services in the following ways:

  • on foot;
  • from a vehicle (Station trolley, Van, Pick-up, scooter etc.);
  • a hot-dog cart.

With a vent license you also have the option to sell your products / services in a specific place. This place is then recorded in the permit.

In addition to the permanent vent permit, you can also apply for a temporary vent permit. With the temporary vent permit you can sell your products and / or services on a specific day - or within a certain period of time. Some well-known days / periods on Curaçao are:

  • Carnival;
  • King's Day (Aña di Rei);
  • Dia di bandera;
  • Marcha di seu.

Catering (horeca) license

Do you serve alcohol into your catering establishment? Then you must apply for a "Horeca permit" at the Licensing Desk of the Ministry of Directors, Planning and Services.

To be eligible for a catering license, you must meet various obligations and conditions. These obligations and conditions relate to:

  1. Public order (including closing time);
  2. Hygiene;
  3. Fire safety;
  4. Possible nuisance to the environment;
  5. Construction construction.

All the five points above mentioned must be in order to obtain the catering license.

You can apply for the following catering permits on Curaçao:
